For over 27 years, Maureen Ross has called Pelham home, so it was only natural that when she started her businesses, Dog Talk and New England Pet Partners, that she choose Pelham as her base of operations.
In January of 1929, in order to spur more summer resort vacationers, lots of 1600 sq. ft. of land around Little Island Pond were given away for free with the purchase of 3 lbs. of coffee. These ‘coffee lots’ are still in existence today, and offer camps and summer retreats for residents and visitors.
