Timothy Hirsch is a multi-generational member of the Pelham community. His family members have been self-starting business owners since the town’s early days. Tim is an independent advisor for Omni Insurance Brokerage and has been a proud member of the PEDC since 2015.
Wayne has been the owner and operator of Pelham Insurance for over 20 years and joined the Economic Development Committee in 2015. With over 20 years in the business, Wayne has graciously volunteered his experience and time to fund raise for many non-profit organizations around Pelham.
A resident of Pelham since June 1988 Jeff Gowan has served as Pelham’s Planning Director since August of 2005. Jeff had previously been a member of the Pelham Planning Board, from 1994 to 2001 and as Chair for several of those years. Jeff also served as a member of the Board of Adjustment from 2003 until he resigned as Vice-Chair in August 2005 to accept the position of Planning Director.
As a founding member of the Pelham Economic Development Committee, Jeff sought a grant to fund the development of Pelham’s first Economic Development Strategic Plan which was released in April, 2009. Among the Strategic Plan’s recommendations was to make the Pelham Economic Development Committee a permanent committee with strong business representation and a defined mission and to develop an economic development website. Jeff has helped the PEDC transition from a fledgling Town committee with an evolving mission to an independent committee consisting primarily of Pelham business owners and representatives.
Lisa has been a life- long resident of Pelham while servicing the residents in town as a realtor with Coco Early Associates. Since 2001, Lisa has held several roles within the Economic Development Committee; A previous Chairman, member, and currently the Secretary. Lisa is passionate about bridging the business community to the expanding families in Pelham.
Karen has been a Pelham resident for over 16 years and is the Branch Manager of Enterprise Bank since its opening in February 2012. Karen has served as a member of the Economic Development Committee for over 5 years as both the Co-Chairman and Treasurer; her vested interest is seeing steady growth for Pelham while being a place for businesses and families to be proud of.
A long- time Pelham resident and owner of Hammar’s Art Studio on Rt 38; Brianna joined the Economic Development Committee in 2015 in the hopes of encouraging and expanding Pelham’s business community. Brianna was elected chairman in 2016, spearheading a website rebuilding project as well as other fundraising initiatives with committee members. Brianna is the first “second generation” committee member as her father, Rick Hammar, was one of the original founding committee members who served for many years.
Bill is a Commercial Loan Officer at Enterprise Bank where he works closely with businesses of all sizes for their financing needs. After joining the Economic Development Committee in 2017, Bill has been actively supporting Pelham’s growing businesses.
